About Peter
Mr Peter Cameron is Founder and Managing Director of Energy Markets Global, the UK based international consultancy in energy markets, particularly gas. He is also lecturer in Business Strategy for the UK based Middlesex University Oil and Gas MBA.
Peter advises Governments and companies on their energy businesses. He is a commercial and regulatory expert in downstream energy sectors, particularly natural gas and LNG, a regulatory economist in liberalising and emerging markets, a corporate strategist, business planner and business executive trainer. He has over 25 years industry experience including long term assignments in Nigeria, Argentina, Colombia, Central Asia, Ukraine and the UK, plus shorter projects worldwide.
He was Chairman of the International Services Board of the Society of British Gas Industries and represented the British Government on gas sector events worldwide. Previously, Peter worked for the British Government Department of International Trade as Export Promoter, concentrating on oil, gas and utilities in Colombia, and before that, Corporate Planner and Strategist for British Gas (now Shell, National Grid and Centrica).
Peter has had published two books on the energy sector, over 15 articles and has presented at over 20 international conferences.
