About Tim
I have extensive experience in the media/ TV business world, have held senior positions in commercial and public companies, plus a number of start ups. Including Nickelodeon/Viacom, Disney, UKTV, BBC, ITV and Larkhead Media. I presently run my media consultancy T1M Consult, prior to which I was CEO of Larkshead Media, and Vice President, Director of Programming at Nickelodeon UK & Ireland. Before joining Nickelodeon I was Head of Editorial Operations, Planning and Services at UKTV. I was on the Board of Directors for the BSLBT [British Sign-Language Broadcasting Trust] 2009-2014, and presently sit on the Children’s Media Conference Committee, and I’m a Non-Executive Director at Fudge Productions. I started my career at the BBC in 1982, and have been part of the channel launch teams for both Carlton Television in 1992 and Disney Channel in 1995. I am also an experienced Executive Coach, Trainer, Mentor and Speaker.
