Much of my earlier "corporate" career (spanning nearly a couple of decades) was spent contracting or consulting for the UK Mobile companies (Three, Vodafone, O2 etc) leading huge Programmes spending £billions building-out and upgrading the physical networks (antennas on masts and rooftops) when new technologies are released (eg, 4G, 5G).
In 2014 I turned my attention to property investing, specifically small blocks of flats in central Oxford.
In 2018 I purchased a very traditional HVAC SME from two retiring brothers, and have since transformed the business into a more modern, efficient, and virtually independent enterprise (ie, I only spend a few hours a month on the business, so I have spare time to devote to helping others).
During late 2019 to early 2020, I helped the owner of a £5m turnover electrical company to identify why they were seemingly unable to hold onto good profits gained at gross level right down to operating level. After only a fairly short period of investigation, the main 3-4 reasons had been identified and recommendations made as to their resolution.
I'm very much looking to help the SME end of the market, rather than a return to Plc's and large corporates (ideally).
Since May 2021, I also coach SME acquisitions to individuals around the world.
For the right opportunity, I would also consider investing in SME's or even purchasing.
