▪ Integral role in achieving the £1.2m sale transfer of Athletes Unlimited Ltd (holding company for SCE) to an Employee Ownership Trust, a key objective of the owner.
▪ Mentor and guide owner through corporate governance procedures and afford him the opportunity to become completely removed from the day to day running of the business – also one of his key objectives.
▪ Budget Planning and Execution – taken the business from an EBITDA of -£60k in FY17 to £220k in FY19
▪ Lead on Business Development, Operational Delivery & Fulfilment, Geographical Expansion, Cost Control, Performance Management, Quality Assurance and Customer Service across a three-year growth strategy.
▪ Operational Efficiencies – Increased student numbers from 600 to 900pa whilst reducing COGS by 40%

Accountable for establishing the strategic direction for the club, devising methods to improve business performance, and providing guidance to all departments, including Sales, Marketing, Member Relations, F&B, Swim & Tennis Schools, Health & Fitness, Front / Back of House and third-party tenants. My key focus was to ensure the premium brand met customer expectations and high-end service was entrenched within staff culture.

A 3,500+ membership club with a £4.5m turnover, Perth South was consistently struggling to perform against the P&L, membership retention, customer feedback and sales, but subsequently went on to hit all targets across key disciplines for the last four months of my tenure… the only club within the Next Gen Group to do so. The key to my success was tighter performance management, focused customer service and stricter operational efficiencies, all whilst creating a culture of professionalism and teamwork.

Championed the company operations to ensure a highly motivated tutor team delivered industry leading education across 40+ venues with optimum efficiency, exceeding customer satisfaction and against strict financial and strategic business objectives.

▪ Integral role in £33m sale acquisition management of Premier Global to US firm Ascend Learning in 2014, including project management of full operational due diligence.
▪ Working in close partnership with the PTI Sales Director took PTI from being a £7.8m revenue turnover and £1m EBITDA business in FY11 to a turnover of £10.7m and EBITDA of £3.3m in FY15.
▪ Project management of employer engagement programme to help influence the delivery of the core education product, increase sales and successfully provide high-end customer service throughout the customer journey.
▪ Established profitable client relationships providing strategic brand alignment and delivering annual corporate education with both Private and Public organisations, including elite sport, leisure operators, MOD & governing bodies (ukactive, CIMSPA, PD: Approval).
▪ Orchestrated all departments within the organisation to successfully project lead on obtaining the Matrix Standard, critical in terms of attracting funding partnerships and optimising contract agreements.
▪ Development and successful implementation of Premier’s first international Training Agreements in Dubai, India and Trinidad.
▪ Successfully increased positive output in key areas of the operational performance, for example tutor utilisation, timelines and administration for strategic partners, quality assurance and logistical management of company assets.
