Responsible for the integration of the 11 store Irish business into the International Division after very difficult trading in the market following the 2008 economic crises in Ireland.

I was appointed as CEO to lead the new MdN Team and drive performance in the current stores and formulate a growth strategy through new store openings, E Commerce and cross border expansion.

Leading the Debenhams International Division which includes (1)Franchise Stores ,(2) the Cyprus JV, (3) Magasin du Nord ( Denmark) and (4)Debenhams in Republic of Ireland.
Total Retail Sales value £900m and Profits of £45m Ebitda (35% of Co Total) in 2016

Responsible for the International expansion strategy and execution into Middle East and Asian Markets for Wallis, Miss Selfridge, Warehouse,Richards and Adams.

Responsible for the re engineering and recovery of a loss making business of ;
27 stores in Spain, 11 in Holland and 4 in Germany.
Realigned the business processes in each market whilst considering the specific customer requirements, refining the product selection processes and improving retail disciplines and shortening the supply chain.
Turnover £40m Profit £1.5m Ebitda

Evaluated and assessed the Hush Puppies store concept.
Built a structure with processes capable of supporting an intense rollout from site selection to store delivery and performance measurement.
Organised the rapid rollout of the concept to 127 stores in 18 months with sales of £100m and Profits of £10m Ebitda

Based in Dublin ,responsible for Brands such as Saxone, Dolcis, FHW, Curtess, Trueform etc
29 stores and 30+ Concessions in Dept Stores in Republic of Ireland plus further 31 stores in N. Ireland.
Appointed to close down the loss making business in the Republic of Ireland however, after my initial assessment, made it possible to turn it around by realigning its practices and product supply back into the individual UK businesses.
