I am interested in Non-Executive roles with a particular focus on businesses looking for someone with:
- significant international (specifically Asian) experience;
- in depth knowledge of the retail, hospitality, real estate or financial services sectors;
- expertise in corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions.

Following a near 20 year career in investment banking with HSBC and ABN AMRO, I spent over 10 years as CFO and Executive Director of family-controlled listed companies headquartered in Hong Kong - The Hong Kong & Shanghai Hotels Ltd (HSH) and Dairy Farm International Holdings Limited (part of the Jardine Matheson Group), respectively listed on the Hong Kong and London & Singapore Stock Exchanges.

I am currently based in the UK as Executive Vice President of IWG PLC (also founder family controlled) – the largest provider of flexible workspace globally operating through over a dozen brands in 113 countries – with responsibility for Strategy, Business Development and Corporate Finance.

I am also Non-Executive Director of AVI Global Trust PLC, a FTSE250 listed investment trust.

I have separately held a number of other Non-Executive Director roles in both listed and unlisted companies.

I have 23 years international experience living and working in Asia, based in both Manila and Hong Kong, and have operated in all major Asian countries, almost entirely working with or for family controlled companies, with industry experience across the banking, hospitality, retail (mass market, luxury and franchise operations), real estate and services industries. I have held senior management roles overseeing finance, treasury, risk management, legal, IT, projects and business development, with experience in significant business transformation programmes across large complex businesses and multiple countries.

In my spare time I am an active sportsman as well as an angel investor and adviser to early-stage companies with a particular focus on technology.
