After a long term career in the Aerospace and Defence industry culminating in Divisional CEO, MD and Board positions with BAE Systems Plc, I have embarked on a portfolio career. I have recent experience of management consulting, leadership development and (following approval by the Bank of England), I joined the board of a regional building society and bank as a NED between 2015-18. I have also been invited to become a Honorary Teaching Fellow at the Lancaster University Management School.

I now seek new challenges to utilise this experience in the development of successful enterprises - preferably (but not necessarily) in the North West of England. I have the energy, capacity and appetite to make a substantial contribution to a wide range of businesses wanting a NED with innovative ideas, strong corporate governance knowledge, strategy development experience and proven business development skills to underpin future growth. I have a leadership style which has been observed as supportive yet willing to constructively challenge where appropriate.
