Peter has nearly 50 years experience working within the Financial Services Industry, his work experience covers working closely with UK & European Parliaments, Ministers & Regulators on a wide variety of regulatory & digital innovation issues. He has wide experience of policy, regulation & market strategy, together with insight on innovation. He currently has a portfolio career fitting with the modern financial services ‘gig’ economy where he now has a number of roles with political groups, industry think-tanks and strategy groups.
He is a Non-Executive Director of Seneca Investment Managers and also acts as an Industry Consultant at FinTechReguLabs as well as representation on a number of industry policy groups working on the convergence of UK Financial Services, emerging tech, policy & regulation. He has also sat on a number of UK Regulatory Steering Groups. He liaises with regulators and ministers on all new developments in financial services, fintech, regulation and policy.
Peter is supporting the facilitation of collaborating the fusion of regulation with FinTech & Digital evolution across UK Financial Services & the FinTech ecosystem. One of his current core roles is leading on technology innovation & regulation looking at the relationship between that innovation and both UK & EU regulation from many different angles. This includes requests to consider how technology innovation may shape regulation and supervision of the future.
