Simon has had the archetypal roller coaster ride of employment and consulting, then finding his niche; starting, growing and running a substantial international hospitality, leisure and event management business to a successful exit. And, in true entrepreneurial style, not ready to put on his carpet slippers, in 2012 he co-founded Fordham Henderson Business Mentoring & Executive Coaching where he found his vocation and passion... helping others in business.

Now Chair of the Association of Business Mentors (ABM) and board advisor to a number of companies and Government and author of several self-help books, he splits his time between pro bono mentoring of 'new' entrepreneurs at LBS, Uni of Westminster and the National College of Humanities, paid mentoring and coaching to Execs, business owners and celebrities and continuously promoting the improvement of standards in professional business mentoring and coaching through the ABM.

In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, he started The Business School, a digital training and development centre for those who "want to know about business but don't know who to ask." The working ethos is that there are no stupid questions in business and "we don't know what we don't know."
