CML builds and sells software to estate agents and letting agents, especially for companies at the top end of the UK property market. I joined this as a non executive director and investor, but later was asked to take on the role of running the business when the previous MD retired. I grew the company successfully and as instrumental in selling it to a large US (private equity backed) property software company, MRI, in July 2018.

Multepos sells EPoS (electric point of sale) software to UK pharmacies. I joined as an investor and non executive director. I assisted management to re-engineer the product set and agree a joint venture with the largest UK pharmacy dispensing software provider to roll out our software to their largest client (500 stores) and sell them a minority stake in the business. Subsequently the partner company (Rx Systems) made an offer to acquire 100% of Multepos, which completed in 2013.

Relcon makes software for the UK opticians sector. I acquired the business in 2003 and grew it rapidly through to 2006 when it was acquired by the largest optical software company in the world, Ocuco Limited, based in Dublin. I sat on the board of Ocuco and ran their UK and Irish business for a further two years after the sale of Relcon. I remain an investor to this day.

Rave is an offshore software development company, with headquarters in Mumbai, India. I managed 50% of the UK business relationships (after winning these same accounts) and was instrumental in growing the business over 100% per annum 5 years in a row. We subsequently sold the business to our biggest client, Northgate Information Systems, in 2003.
