David is an executive in the financial services industry with a deep expertise in finance, combining strategic, governance, compliance and risk management experience with a solid understanding of team building, talent and diversity.

He has a broad experience in the financial services industry spanning asset management, banking and asset servicing with a track record of translating regulatory requirements into strategic opportunities while maintaining bottom line results.

Since 2017 David is working as Chief Financial Officer for a US Alternative & Hedge Fund Manager being responsible for the set-up of the fund structure in Luxembourg and advsing the board of directors in financial, risk management, compliance and regulatory questions.
Before that, David was advising C-Level Executives as well as Board Directors in the financial services and asset management industry in the areas of strategy, performance improvement, corporate governance, regulatory and compliance as well as financial reporting as an Associate Partner at Grant Thornton.
David started his career at KPMG taking on different roles in the audit and consulting department. Within 9 years David advised banks, asset managers and investments funds in the areas of strategy, regulatory and compliance as well as accounting, financial reporting and financial management.

David has been professionally trained and educated as a Certified Director (IDP-C) at INSEAD, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and holds a Master Degree in Business Law at the University of Applied Sciences Trier. In addition he is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, a Member of the Luxembourg Risk Management Association and a previous Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.
